The Abolitionist DTS
The Discipleship Training School is a five month life-changing program designed to help you "Know God and to make Him known". It is a time for you to seek God's face, hear His voice and discover who God made you to be. Putting aside all the distractions of life you can focus on God and His heart for the nations. It's a time to step out of your comfort zone and give God your whole heart and your whole life. DTS will open your eyes to God's heart for a hurting world and see Him use you to change it.
Lecture Phase
The first 12 weeks involve extensive and intensive training. You will be discipled together with others from all over the world who are passionately seeking God's heart. Our guest speakers come from dynamic ministries all over the world to share on topics like: The Abolitionist Movement, Hearing God's voice, The Father Heart of God, Evangelism, Spiritual Warfare, and Worldview. Every week is a new topic incorporating 12 hours of lectures and each day you will experience time alone with God, group interaction, instruction, fellowship, worship, intercession and time to study and process all that God is doing in your life. Outreaches will emphasize practical ways of stopping human trafficking in Las Vegas and abroad. We will also take a jaunt down to Tijuana, Mexico which is also one of the hubs for victims crossing into the US.
Outreach Phase
The next 8-9 weeks of the Abolitionist DTS will be spent in India and Nepal. Mumbai, India has one of the largest red light districts in the world which is full enslaved prostitutes. You will follow the trail north to cities such as Agra and Lucknow and eventually cross the border into Nepal where many of the girls are trafficked from. In the teams and in partnership with local ministries you will minister in a variety of ways including evangelism, awareness campaigns, working with children of prostitutes, work projects, teaching, worship and prayer, and other creative means of combating human trafficking.
