Most of our ministry is focused on the downtown area.
In evangelism, we share Jesus passionately any way we can, in one the busiest and neediest communities.
In the area of mercy ministries, we open our Street Café twice a week, offering meals and friendship to the homeless and addicted, while Luminocity seeks to reach prostitutes.
Our training department, through Mission Adventures and DTS, are able to work alongside our long-term ministries. Through this we promote our belief that "hands-on training" is the best way to learn how to minister. Let us equip you in Las Vegas and then take you into the rest of the world.

We Live Right In The Middle Of Everything!
Our ministry base is just South East of the center of Las Vegas. We are located ten minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, ten minutes from the downtown area and fifteen minutes from the airport. YWAM Las Vegas really is located in the heart of the city. (We're not even a little bit country!)

In 2001, we had a 66% staff increase and we are continuing to grow at an amazing rate. Our Mission Adventure program alone hosts hundreds of people a year and we are still planning for more! We are truly a cutting edge ministry. No one else does what we do. We have a priority of working with the local church and our ministry volunteers come from all over the Las Vegas valley. From training local churches and taking them to the nations; from mercy ministries to street outreaches - this is something different in Las Vegas.

Every year, 36 million tourists from all over the world visit Las Vegas for vacations and conventions. Four to seven thousand people move to Las Vegas every month, making it the fastest growing city in America, if not the world. Las Vegas is considered to be the city of the future and we are a part of it.

Not Las Vegas OR The Nations, But Las Vegas AND The Nations!
We as YWAM Las Vegas believe that we can reach our city and our world. God has given us vision to reach out to our community and to touch the lives of those beyond. The nations come to our city and we as a ministry go to them. We have already trained and sent teams out around the world to the 10/40 window and we have a strong vision to travel to every nation in the world.
