The Discipleship Training School is a five month life-changing program designed to help you "Know God and to make Him known". It is a time for you to seek God's face, hear His voice and discover who God made you to be. Putting aside all the distractions of life you can focus on Jesus and hear His heartbeat for the nations. It's a time to step out of your comfort zone and give God your whole heart and your whole life. DTS will open your eyes to God's heart for a hurting world and see Him use you to reach those who are in need.

Introducing the Martus DTS

“…but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." Acts 1:8 (NASB)

Jesus called each and every one of us to be His witnesses (martus in Greek) to the nations. This is commonly referred to as The Great Commission, a command that all too often we as Christians neglect. The Martus DTS is focused on changing that, first by training you then by sending you out. The DTS is divided into two parts; Lecture Phase and Outreach Phase.

Lecture Phase:

The first 12 weeks involve extensive and intensive training. You will be discipled together with others from all over the world who are passionately seeking God's heart. Our guest speakers come from dynamic ministries all over the world to share awesome truths covering topics like: Hearing God's voice, The Father Heart of God, Relationships, Spiritual Warfare, and World Missions. Each day you will experience time alone with God, group interaction, instruction, fellowship, worship, intercession and time to study and process all that God is doing in your life. In addition to the lectures, the Martus focus will add three hours of practical training for the 10/40 Window each week ranging from desert survival school and wilderness first aid to basic self defense and breaking free from restraints. There are also weekly ministry opportunities in the sprawling metropolis known as “Sin City”. Las Vegas is the perfect training ground for frontier missions and ministry and we want to show you why…

Outreach Phase:

The next 8 weeks of this program will be overseas on the mission field. The previous 12 weeks were to prepare and equip you, outreach is where you walk it out. The Martus program is focused on the area of greatest need in the world today, an area known as the 10/40 Window. This geographical region is home to North Africa, Southern Europe, the Middle East, India and Asia with the major religions being Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. This area has the most unreached people groups in the world and is also the most poor. What really is important about this region however is the fact that while over 95% of the world’s unreached peoples live in this area, only 4% of all Christian missionaries minister there. There is so much potential in this area if it only had a catalyst. You could be that spark, we’ll show you how.
