YWAM Schools are college level courses that together make up a degree accredited with the University of the Nations. These schools range from the core course known as the Discipleship Training School to very specific schools, including the Birth Attendant School and the School of Digital Film Making. In addition to the DTS, YWAM Las Vegas offers two schools:
Worship - Intercession - Spiritual Warfare - Evangelism (WISE) School WISE is a school focused on the practical areas of the Christian life: worship, intercession, spiritual warfare and evangelism. It is divided into two sections: three months of classroom training follwed by two months of outreach (usually to another country). During both the classroom training and the outreach, students are involved in the community, utilizing the skills they learned in their classes.
Basic Leadership School (BLS) BLS is a flexible school aimed at training individuals in the basic principles of leadership. It is a 12-month internship program covering several topics including but not exclusive to: discovering your gifts and calling, conflict resolution, team roles, personal development and communication. There is also an optional outreach included in the training. SOAP The School of Apostolic Pioneering is a new school in YWAM which will train a person in how to effectively plant YWAM ministries and bases worldwide. YWAM Las Vegas also offers the following training seminar:
RescueNet Training RescueNet Training exposes the participant to various aspects of disaster response including emergency medical, basic fire suppression, search and rescue, disaster psychology, and refugee reception.
