Why should I do my mission trip with YWAM Las Vegas?

Our experience: Nobody has more experience in this type of ministry than YWAM.

Our costs: In a recent survey, we found that our program offered the highest level of service while our prices are among the lowest.

Our training: We give your students all they need for dynamic ministry during your trip, and the ability to “take it all home.”


Where do we stay?

Our building is located in central Las Vegas - about a ten-minute drive from the famous Las Vegas Strip. Our base is home to our offices, training schools and to some of our full-time staff. Each night you will either be staying at a local church or at our facility depending on your group size and housing availability. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served family style at the location you are staying at.


Is it Safe?

Since 1999, we have hosted hundreds of students from many different church youth groups, Christian schools and colleges. We make every effort to impact our inner-city while our accommodations are located a short distance away in a more secure environment. The students who come are accompanied by our staff at all times during all outreach activities all over the city. Among our staff who oversee the program, we have well over fifty years of experience in this kind of ministry. Therefore, we never put the students in a place of overt danger at any time. If you would like references from any of our previous youth pastors, please let us know and we will send them to you.


Is it Biblical?

Jesus did it, the disciples did it and since you can’t do better than that, we do it too! However, if you have any questions about what we believe other than our statement of faith or our general YWAM values, please do not hesitate to contact us and we would love to answer any questions that you might have.


Where do we minister?

The majority of our ministry is focused on the older, downtown area of Las Vegas. Here, The Fremont Street Experience is a tourist area that attracts many locals and visitors to the grittier part of the Strip, as well as many addicted and needy people. This is a perfect location for most of our outreach opportunities. We are also developing new ministries to reach out to the homeless youth and adults in other parts of the city.
