B – Bad experiences/Bad examples

A – Apathy

Dictionary definition: “a lack of feeling or sympathy for other persons…and may imply either great adsorption in one’s own affairs, or mere callousness. A lack of emotional response or an unwillingness to become personally involved”

R – Our unbelief

Mark 16:14 “Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.”
Matthew 13:58 “And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith” NIV
Hebrews 3:12 “See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.”
Luke 16:31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

F – Fear of man
