Prayer and Worship
At YWAM Las Vegas we want to mobilize individuals who are passionate for prayer or worship and reach the city with these Kingdom tools. With prayer bursting from our hearts and a song constantly on our lips, we will seek His presence and see His beauty revealed to the people of this city. Light will pierce darkness, death will turn to life, and the true love and freedom through Christ Jesus will be unleashed.
YWAM Las Vegas is growing in these areas and enthusiastically embracing the focus and vision stated above. We believe that prayer and worship play a huge role not only in our relationship with God, but in reaching others. This famous city is in desperate need of those who will cry out for breakthrough and freedom from the darkness and death that majorly affects lives every day! The strip alone receives a number of visitors, over flowing with over 100,000 pedestrians a day. This city's claim to fame is the sin ready and available for whoever desires. However, there is One more famous and He is filled with life everlasting as opposed to the temporary satisfaction of the full-fledged, 24 hour entertainment on which our city thrives. (John 4:13 & 14).
How do we bring life to the city through prayer and worship?
- - Taking prayer and worship into our city, onto the streets and to those within our city through prayer and worship focused outreaches.
- - Connecting and partnering with local churches.
- - Training individuals with a passion for prayer and worship through internships.
- - Teaching on prayer and worship in our Discipleship Training School as well as including regular prayer and worship times throughout the lecture phase of the school.
- - Cultivating weekly prayer and worship within our ministry’s operations and corporately as a staff.
