Summer staff is a two month long internship that will give you the opportunity to become better trained in missions and become better equipped as a leader. Since you will have many chances to minister hands on throughout the entire summer, this is a great start for anyone who has a heart for full time ministry or someone who has a heart for missions and may be looking to pursue either of these callings.
As summer staff, you are given responsibilities. Some of these responsibilities will include: leading small groups, leading outreaches, helping out in the kitchen, work duties, and walking alongside the students to encourage, bless and help them break out of their boxes as world changers! As a leader you will minster and bless students from all walks of life. Students are generally from all of North America and are all ages, from middle school, high school, college and even some adults!
The summer always starts out with time specifically set aside for staff training. During staff training we make sure you know how to explain and lead outreaches, we train you in your specific jobs, we spend time bonding as a group, work projects, leadership training, outreaches, quiet times, rest, a lot of fun and digging into God and HIs heart for the world changers that will be coming to Mission Adventures throughout the summer. After staff training is done, we jump into serving the missions teams that come through.
There is a cost to staff for the summer, which will cover room, board, staff activities and transportation while you are in Las Vegas. Though, it does not cover transportation to and from Las Vegas. To apply for summer staff simply click HERE and fill out everything under “Short Term Staff”
